Vesuvia is one of the few thousands of humans inhabiting the Sankt, a subterranean city and the last known human civilization on Earth. Save for the violent storms that now plague the Earth’s surface, life in the Sankt is a mostly peaceful experience. However, when mysterious beings make contact from beyond Earth, Vesuvia's world will never be the same.
Beings beyond the skies, the Ascentrians, claim to be angels sent to save Vesuvia's world from complete destruction - with a heavy price. With Vesuvia herself having made first contact, she quickly realizes that the fates of both worlds are in her hands.
With the threat of solar-powered weapons, monsters roaming the Earth's surface, new friends with ulterior motives, and the looming extinction of a dwindling human race, can Vesuvia really save her world?
